18 days ago I picked these beauties up at our 4-H office. 12 fertilized eggs. This my first time doing ANYTHING like this. I was sooo stinkin' worried I would mess something up. The temp has to be at least 100.00 and humidity at 60%. But OH this incubator we have is super temperamental. Seriously, how does a mama hen keep the humidity at 60%?!?! We candled them this morning and 5 out of the 12 made it. I'm OK with that, I was so concerned none of them would make it. So any day now we will hopefully have 5 baby chicks!! As for now I will pace by my incubator...ringing my hands.

Organization
Early this week all the boys on our block organized a game of capture the flag.
I feel like my boys are growing up so fast.
Capture the flag?! They were just playing with fisher price little people...but now...
big kid stuff.
They are soooo hard core. They get that from their daddy ;)

Love me some art..
“Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.” - Pablo Picasso
One of my very favorite parts of my education was art class. Don't let me mislead you...I'm not good...at all. I just love being creative. I try to incorporate as much "creativity" into our class time and free time as possible. But I wanted them to have that real art class experience. So I did what any normal American would do...I turned to Google :)
It turned out that there was a super cool art school a couple of towns away! AND they offered homeschool classes. Perfecto!
One of my favorite parts is the history behind the building. An old candy factory built in 1908. Needless to say I don't know who is more excited me or them.
