A few Saturdays ago we took the boys to "Monster Jam". It was pretty good but oh my was it loud. We had ear plugs and honestly it was not good enough. At one point the thought crossed my mind..."has anyone ever died from sound?". I know that probably sounds silly, but I literally felt the sound vibrations throughout my whole body!

All their products are beautifully hand crafted and made in the United States! I don't know about you but I would rather buy something made here at home then send my precious dollars to another county. Check out my website www.longaberger.com/christycox. Thursday at our house
Our cookie jar was completely empty today (this fact horrifies my children). So we made the easiest recipe I know of for Chocolate Chip Cookies.
They probably won't last long!
My next Task was to clean out this teeny tiny drawer that had so much junk in it I was to embarrassed to take a before picture. I never knew you could fit so much in something so small. Because of it's size, I wasn't really sure what to use it for. The Farm Chicks inspired me so I decided to store all my sprinkles, pastry tips, and food coloring containers.

A big highlight in my day was receiving my
Farm Chicks Cookbook/Craft Book.
Inside it I found this sweet little fix to my utensil storage issue. Just a plain old jar with cloth attached on the inside. They suggested oil cloth but I didn't have any in my fabric stash so I just used what I had. It worked great but I did have to tack it with my glue gun.

Hibernation
"No winter lasts forever; no spring skips it turn." - Hal Borland
What a winter. We have seriously been in hibernation mode here at our house. We are desperately longing for those warm spring days! But that does not mean we haven't been enjoying those snow showers. When my sweet boys awaken to see snow kissed ground they declare with much jumping and shouting "It's Christmas, It's Christmas!"
