Let Pumpkin Season Begin...

My sweet baby brother, who really isn't a baby anymore, constantly begs me for my pumpkin chocolate chip bread. Since it's unofficial pumpkin season, first day of fall is September 22nd, I can now fix that boy some bread. He's away at college now so Mr. Postman will be delivering his, but we'll be enjoying ours tonight :)

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread

3cups sugar
1cup oil
4 eggs
1 (16oz) can pumpkin
3.5cups flour
2tsp baking soda
2tsp cinnamon
2tsp salt
2/3cup water
chocolate chips

Mix sugar, oil, eggs. and pumpkin. Add flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon alternately with water. Mix well. Add chocolate chips, I usually use 1/2 a bag but it's up to you. Pour into greased 8x4in loaf pans. Bake at 350degrees for 1 hour. It should yield 3loaves.

This sounds good. I recently tried a ww's version of chocolate pumpkin muffins that was easy and tasty, too. Your homeschool room looks great. Good luck.

Oh, and have you ever smeared it with cream cheese icing?

You'll never go back.

Yummy! This sounds delicious. I just had some pumpkin bread at my Bible Study this morning and didn't get a chance to ask the girl who made it for the recipe, so I will just have to try yours. Thanks!

Hope you don't mind, I wandered on over to your blog from Charon's.
